Confirmed Resident Evil 8 Village Feature Will Let Players Get Up Close With Giant Vampire Lady

Of all of the highly anticipated titles releasing in 2021, Resident Evil Village is at the top of many players' lists. Serving as a direct follow-up to Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil Village looks to further expand upon everything that made the previous game enjoyable to a lot of players. Though, Resident Evil Village will include a new feature that lets players get a more detailed look at its popular vampire antagonist.

Since the release of Resident Evil 7 in 2017, the series has managed to revitalize itself in a significant way. With remakes of older games being released, a live-action TV series and movie being produced, and now the upcoming release of Resident Evil Village, the franchise has managed to reach new heights.

Included in Resident Evil Village is a photo mode. Within the last few years, photo modes have become extremely commonplace in terms of most AAA video game releases. Resident Evil Village will be the first Resident Evil game to ever include a photo mode, making the photo mode a huge improvement over Resident Evil 7. This means fans who are already obsessed with the game's antagonist will be able to get a more up-close and personal look.

Ever since Lady Dimitrescu was featured prominently in recent promotional material, she has become immensely popular online. Many people have taken a shining to her, including a 6'9" Olympic medalist who recently cosplayed as Lady Dimitrescu, much to the Internet's delight. Having photo mode enabled will allow players to experience the game and the character more intimately.

Capcom has certainly given fans a lot to consider with this game. In terms of its story, how the events of Resident Evil 7 relate will be interesting for players to see unfold. This is especially true considering Chris Redfield and the new version of Umbrella will presumably play a larger role in this game.

It will also be interesting to see how Lady Dimitrescu and her family relate to the story, and where Resident Evil Village fits on the Resident Evil timeline. If there's one thing that can be said about Resident Evil, it would be that its timeline events may appear confusing to some, but everything that happens in each of the games ultimately relates to previous story events. Hence, there will be a lot for fans to look forward to going into Resident Evil Village.

Resident Evil Village is set to launch May 7 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
