Pokemon Sword and Shield Fan Reveals Impressive Nessa Cosplay
A cosplayer brought to life Nessa, one of the gym leaders from Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. The cosplay is so amazingly done that it immediately caught the attention of the Pokemon fan community. This cosplayer decided to portray the gym leader from the Galar region who has earned the hearts of many Pokemon Sword and Shield fans.
Nessa has become one of the most beloved gym leaders because of her attitude and her incredible style. The Water-type Pokemon master caught the fans' attention as soon as they got the first glimpse of her. The love for Nessa was so big, some fans even declared they liked Nessa more than one of Pokemon's most iconic characters and another Water-type master, Misty.
This time cosplayer Sasha, who can be found as narmayae on Instagram, made a new rendition of Nessa. Sasha posted a couple of pictures to her Instagram and, unsurprisingly, this earned her a lot of likes from Pokemon fans everywhere. Her first picture has earned her almost 400 likes so far and many positive comments. Sasha's attire shows her wearing Nessa's crop top and shorts, as well as her iconic belly chain.
In her second picture, Sasha shows what the makeup looks like from up close. The cosplayer is channeling Nessa by also wearing light blue contacts that closely resemble Nessa's eye color. Sasha also made a great job at replicating Nessa's hair by including the Pokemon master's streaks of blue hair to complement the look. However, fans did not get to see Nessa's shoes with tiny floaters that were used for many amazing memes.
Aside from being a great Water-type master and a Pokemon gym leader, Nessa is canonically a model. According to her Rare League Card, Nessa is equally successful in her modeling career as she is as a trainer. This actually makes Nessa a great choice for cosplay as one can easily imagine Nessa posing for a picture like Sasha is doing. In addition to her Nessa cosplay, Sasha has also cosplayed Gwen from League of Legends, Starfire from Teen Titans, and Kairi from Kingdom Hearts, among others. Her detailed cosplays have earned her over 14 thousand followers on Instagram.
Hopefully, Sasha will continue to make cosplays of major Pokemon trainers. Maybe next time fans will get to see another cosplay of Marnie from Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, the goth rival who has also earned the hearts of many.
Pokemon Sword and Shield are available on the Nintendo Switch.
