Assassin's Creed Valhalla: How to Get Cashelore Armor Wealth
Players of Assassin's Creed Valhalla Wrath of the Druids have explored Ireland and found the numerous new sets of armor and weapons. Armor sets don't make or break a playthrough in Assassin's Creed Valhalla or help with the trading system in this DLC but they can boost players' defense and offense when all pieces are worn together.
In Assassin's Creed Valhalla, there are numerous unique armor sets to collect and one of the more interesting of these is the Celtic set. This one, in particular, has pieces spread all over the map of Ireland and, once all pieces have been acquired and equipped, it increases the player's attack when taking damage as well as boosting the player's melee damage and resistance. As such this set is a nice grab for players but one piece, the Celtic Breeches, can trip players up. This guide is for players who have struggled to gain access to these breeches thus far.
Located in the Cashelore Fortress in the northeast of Connacht, this armor piece is hidden behind one of the numerous puzzles common in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. The first challenge is getting up the fortress which is surrounded by steep cliffs on all but one side. Approaching from the southwest is the best way to get into the area without climbing.
Players should either clear the fortress themselves or pursue the Wrath of the Druids story arc far enough for this fortress to change into more friendly hands before tackling the puzzle. Between players and the Celtic Breeches are two moveable wooden crates and a few destroyable boxes. Once the latter are gone, players need to move the wooden pillar on the left (the thinner of the two) further in to the cave it blocks. This opens up the two ways people can solve this puzzle, which is more options than usual for Wrath of the Druids puzzles.
The first option is to take a few steps back and aim an arrow at a destroyable box just behind the crate that was just moved. This can be a challenge but if the shot is successful then Wrath of the Druids players can continue moving this same crate and squeeze past it. The other option takes less accuracy. Players can move the second wooden structure (the larger one on the right) to the empty space on the left that the left pillar once occupied. This opens up the cave and access to the breeches.
Now simply walk into the cave and open up the chest that holds the armor. As before mentioned, this armor piece doesn't push any player closer to the Wrath of the Druids endgame like certain challenges and resources but it does help boost their capabilities. Some players may have experienced issues with these crates not moving but the paths described above are how the interaction should go.
Leaving the area and returning (especially with fast travel) usually resets these crates and boxes so, if an issue develops, a quick jump out of the area and back to it might help.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
