Maneater: Where To Find All The License Plates In Dead Horse Lake
In Maneater, gamers take on the role of a bloodthirsty shark who hunts anything that gets in its way. It's perfect for those who love open-world games filled with blood, side quests, and collectibles. Like most sharks, players spend their days hunting, eating, swimming, and jumping into the air to collect license plates.
License plates can be found in each region of the world. There are usually ten in each area, and they can be pretty challenging to find and get hold of. Here's a guide to put an end to both of those struggles in the not-so-nicely named Dead Horse Lake. Now, on to perfect jumping and lunging.
The first license plate can be found around the east side of Dead Horse Lake within the lovely radioactive waters. Simply look around for a destroyed silo, and the player should see the license plate floating above it.
It's worth mentioning that the player will need to be a teen or adult shark to get hold of this plate due to it being just out of reach. However, if they practice jumping, locking onto the plate, and lunging as an older shark, it's certainly achievable!
This license plate can be found pretty close to the first one. It's also on the east side of the lake, but isn't one the player needs to jump to. However, they will still need to be an adult to get there.
To get hold of this plate, get the adult status and find the grate that allows the player to get into the sewers. The license plate is located behind one of those two grates. It shouldn't be too challenging to locate, but it's just a shame the player needs to get to an adult before completing the collection.
For the most part, the Dead Horse Lake license plates are underwater. Unlike other locations, the player only needs to focus on getting to adulthood rather than jumping and performing challenging tricks.
To get hold of this one, simply head to the two grates on the northside of the radioactive area and go through. Then swim down, go straight, head left, and then swim down again. The license plate should be right in front of the player.
The developers of the game just love putting these license plates inside or just past grates. This one is no different.
The player can find this license plate at the west of the grotto. When swimming, around the player should see a sealed grate just by the entrance of the Dead Horse Lake Grotto. There's no need to open the grate, the license plate should be just there.
While the majority of these plates need a teen or adult shark, this one is a little more challenging. It's found near the Grotto again, but just north under the tall bridge. The only problem is that it's extremely high up, and can only be grabbed with a double jump.
To do so, the player will need to be an elder shark or even a mega-shark just to get high enough. To make it a little easier, double jump and launch towards the plate. This isn't an easy one, so good luck.
Head to the north side of the lake and find the lovely bar named Flamingo Joe's. Take a look around and locate the boardwalk nearby. The license plate is floating pretty low on the boardwalk, meaning the player will have to jump onto the boardwalk and flop their way towards it.
It's a relatively easy feat, but the player should be careful and keep an eye on their suffocation. The shark doesn't need to be a teen or adult for this plate. Being a pup is just fine, even if it means the player can't get most of the plates in this location just yet.
For this license plate, head to the western side of the lake. Use Flamingo Joe's as a marker, and move just below it. Players should see a huge billboard just along the edge of the water, and the license plate should be just next to it.
It may sound like an easy plate to grab, but this one does require a few jumps, and players might get a little frustrated. The shark shouldn't need to be an adult or elder, but those bonuses will make it much easier to snag this collectible.
Near Flamingo Joe's, head directly south to a large bridge. When looking at the overpass, the player should see the license plate floating high up. Its height will probably hint that being a pup won't cut it here.
Unfortunately, to get high enough to reach this plate, the player will need to be at least an elder or mega-shark. It's a shame, but does mean the player will get to explore places more than once throughout their life as a shark.
To get hold of this plate, head around to the far western part of the Dead Horse Lake and swim towards the river that leads to the Golden Shores. Before going into this river, head a short distance north and swim towards the sign that reads 'Keep Out'. This should be near a mafia dumping site.
Once the player arrives at that location, they'll find the broken boardwalk nearby. The plate should be floating on top, and players can jump over and grab it with ease.
This same broken boardwalk location is also the beginning part of the journey to find the last license plate. Follow the mafia dumping site, and head towards the human revenge mission.
To the right, the player should see a nearby grate they can enter. Head towards the sewers, and they should spot the last license plate in no time.
