Mass Effect 1: How To Save Rita's Sister | Game Rant
Something is comforting about knowing that in a hyper-futuristic society, bars will still be around and heavily utilized. At least, this is the dream presented in Mass Effect Legendary Edition when visiting Chora's Den and Flux. Bars are still just as lively and seedy as they are in the current era, full of mystery where anything, good and bad, can happen.
Of course, players have the power to make sure good things happen to good people and bad things happen to bad people at these establishments. By controlling Shepard, they have a chance to save a young lady's life and bring down an entire criminal empire. And if Shepard never goes to the bar and tries to order a drink, the entire mission can be missed. Sometimes recreational drinking blows off steam and other times it saves the world.
2 Telling Rita She's In Trouble
The first step of the journey is to find out where the mission begins. Unlike the UNC side missions, this mission won't be automatically added to the player's journal.
Fast travel to the Wards, then select Flux. Head inside and past the bodyguard who apparently decides Shepard and the team is looking solid. Shepard will have to talk to Rita at the bar in Flux.
This should be automatic, but make sure to agree to listen to her problems and then to help her out. The renegade options here decline the mission entirely and that's no good. And don't worry, there is another moment coming up for a special renegade dialogue option.
She'll direct Shepard to Chora's Den, the competing bar nearby. Rita is the bartender in the middle of the room, speak to her and tell her she's in trouble. She won't agree to leave and will pretend she doesn't understand what Shepard is talking about. Unfortunately, it's impossible to convince her to take off at this time.
After giving her the heads up, attempt to leave out of the front door. A "drunk" turian will bump into Shepard with a message to meet him at C-Sec to learn more about Rita.
1 Going Undercover
Before going to see Chellick in C-Sec, try to gather up a good amount of renegade and/or paragon points. There are plenty of opportunities on the Citadel alone to make both high enough to succeed on a persuasion dialogue option.
Rita can be saved even without this check, but players get extra experience and a special mod at the end of this questline if they convince Chellick to let Rita go now. Whether Shepard participates in the quid pro quo or not, the next stage of the mission is to help Chellick bust an illegal dealer.
Fast travel to the Wards and then to the Markets. Head down the stairs and find Jax; he can't be missed, he's a huge krogan. When speaking to Jax, do not select the renegade or the paragon option. The whole purpose of the sting is to perform the transaction and then take down the higher-ups later. If this is failed, Rita will be in trouble.
Go back to Chellick for a reward and then return to Rita and give her the good news. This will complete the mission. Congratulations and thanks for keeping the neighborhood friendly!
