New Pokemon Snap: Every Pokemon In Elsewhere Forest & Where To Find Them
Elsewhere Forest is one of the largest and most confusing courses in New Pokemon Snap. It's made up of eight different sections, although players will only pass through four of these on any given run. After the first foggy section, they'll be taken to one of four seasonally-themed areas before returning to another foggy section. To begin with, players will head to a ruins-themed area next, although once they reach research level 3, they'll be able to unlock a different ending section.
The course has 19 Pokemon for players to photograph in total, the majority of which can only be found in the forest. As always, there are a handful of Pokemon that are only accessible at higher research levels as well as a Legendary Pokemon who'll make an appearance once players have completed New Pokemon Snap's main story. That said, players should be able to get a picture of most of them in one or two runs.
- Shiftry - Shiftry will likely be the first Pokemon that players see upon entering the forest as one walks right in front of them as the course begins. They also show up in the summer section of the course later on, as well as several others.
- Trevenant - Like Shiftry, Trevenenant can be found in both of the foggy sections and will occasionally show up in the sunny section of the course as well depending on the route that players take.
- Espurr - Espurr likes to hang out in the two foggy sections and also shows up in the sunny section.
- Kecleon - Players will only be able to see a faint outline of Kecleon due to the Pokemon's excellent camouflage skills, but hitting it with an Illumina Orb will make it show up. They're usually hanging out in trees, although can occasionally be found at ground level too.
- Deerling - Deerling show up in all four of the seasonal sections as well as the sunny section at the end of the course. Players will be able to get a shot of its summer form at research level 1, but will have to wait until level three before they can snap all four variants.
- Sawsbuck - Where there are Deerling, there are usually Sawsbuck. There's also one in the second foggy section of the course too once players hit research level 3.
- Unfezant - There are a ridiculous amount of Unfezant scattered throughout the four seasonal sections of Elsewhere Forest, making the Pokemon very difficult to miss.
- Pancham - Pancham can be found hanging out in the summer section of the course and can also be seen in the ruins. If players pass through the summer section on their way to the sunny section, he'll also show up there.
- Bulbasaur - Like Pancham, Bulbasaur can be found in the summer, sunny and ruins sections of the course.
- Drampa - Given Drampa's monstrous size, it's very difficult to miss it. It pops up in most sections, although the best places to get a photo are either on the left near the end of the ruins section or, depending on the route that players take, on the right near the end of the sunny section.
- Bewear - Bewear likes to hang out in the ruins section, although the best place to snap a photo of it is later on in the winter section of the course, where they can be found hibernating in a cave.
- Lotad - Lotad shows up right at the end of the ruins section, but players will be able to get much better photos later on in the sunny section.
- Magikarp - A Magikarp will jump out of the water if players scan or throw Fluffruit into the pool near the end of the ruins section.
- Serperior - Once players reach research level 2, they'll have a chance at visiting the autumn section of the course. It will also show up in the sunny section later on and can be found hiding in the ancient ruins at the end of the ruins section.
- Applin - There's an Applin on the ground near the very beginning of the autumn section as well as a bunch of them hanging from trees in the sunny section.
- Espeon - Espeon will start to show up in both foggy sections once players reach research level 3. It can also be snapped on the player's left near the very beginning of the sunny section.
- Gardevoir - In order to find Gardevoir, players will need to unlock the winter section. To do this, they'll have to use the Melody Player near the Trevenant that's hanging out by the floating stone in the opening section. This will make it move the stone, at which point they'll need to scan the arrow icon and then throw an Illumina Orb at Espeon.
- Ninetails - Ninetails also shows up in the winter section, but it's quite far away. It is possible to get it to show up in the sunny section too though and this is the best place to get a photo. To do this, players will have to pass through the winter section and then, in the second foggy section, light the Crystalblooms on the right of the track to reunite a lost Deerling with its father. There are five in total, but, in the alcove with two of them, players should only hit the one at the back. If done correctly, the pair will leave the section together via an alternate route which players will then be able to scan to follow.
- Celebi - Celebi shows up at the very start of the ruins section once players have completed the game.
