New Pokemon Snap: Every Request In Blushing Beach (Day) & How To Complete Them
Players will unlock New Pokemon Snap's Blushing Beach Day course after they've gained access to Illumina Orbs by photographing the glowing Crystabloom in Founja Jungle (Night). It's a relatively small course by comparison, although there are still 16 different types of Pokemon spread throughout the beaches and ocean, as well as six LenTalk photo requests for players to sink their teeth into.
Although a few of these won't become available until higher research levels, players will be able to start working towards three of them almost immediately. None of these earlier requests should prove to be particularly taxing on players either, although there are two later on in which they'll need to lure Pokemon to specific locations and these may well end up requiring multiple attempts to get right.
Before players can complete the Near the Water's Edge request for Phil, they'll first need to reach research level 3 in the Beach (Day) course. Once that's been taken care of, they should make their way to the beach near the end of the course and look for the Pikachu that's playing in the sand near the two Alolan Raichu. Their aim here is to guide this little yellow fellow out to the nearby sandbank and as close to the Stunfisk that's basking there as possible.
As with some of the game's other requests, players can accomplish this is by luring the Pokemon there using Fluffruit, and should start throwing a line of them from Pikachu to the sandbank as soon as they're within range. Zooming in the camera will slow down the momentum of the NEO-ONE to buy the player a bit of extra time and using scan will get the Pikachu's attention if it gets distracted or starts eating one of the Fluffruit. Once close enough, Pikachu will hop onto the Stunfisk like a surfboard and players will be able to snap four star photos of both Pokemon if they're quick enough. For the request, however, they'll need to hand in a photo in which Pikachu is the main subject rather than Stunfisk and so this shot should take priority.
The Wingull Loop-the-Loop is one of the easier requests in the Blushing Beach (Day) course and can be completed on the opening beach from research level 1. Players will need to keep their eye out for a Wingull that's not in formation or on its way to a specific location (most of them aren't) and then use the Melody Player to make it perform a Loop-the-Loop.
Capturing the moment on camera can be a little tricky due to the somewhat awkward trajectory of the maneuver and so it's best not to zoom in the first time around. In subsequent runs, those looking for a high scoring photo can repeat the process and attempt to get a better shot, but those only worried about fulfilling the request can do so pretty easily without having to waste too much time on it.
There are numerous requests in New Pokemon Snap that require players to lure a Pokemon somewhere using Fluffruit, but none are quite as infuriating as the Three in a Row request from Rita. It involves getting a picture of three Exeggutor sleeping in a spot on the beach at the start of the course and just might be the most difficult request in the entire game. With enough perseverance it is definitely possible, although it will likely take multiple attempts to get everything to line up just the way it needs to.
Thankfully, one of the Exeggutor is already asleep in the right spot, but players will need to guide the other two there by guiding them with Fluffruit. They should start with the one closest to them and then move on to the one in the distance once the first one is about halfway there. It's best not to let the Exeggutor actually start eating the Fluffruit as this wastes time, but throwing another one every two seconds or so should prevent this from happening. The only saving grace is that this is right at the start of the course, so players can quickly restart if one of the pair starts to go astray. This can also help if players get unlucky with where the Exeggutor spawn in, as their starting positions are fairly random.
To complete the Say Cheese! request, players will need to get a shot of Bellossom reacting the to the scan function. This may sound easy enough, but the three Bellossom near the end of the first beach section are too busy dancing to react to the player's scans. Thankfully, however, there two more Bellossom waiting in the wings to help out.
As players approach the three Bellossom, they'll likely notice that there's something in the bushes behind them. If not, scanning the area will reveal as much. If players use the Melody Player when close enough, the two hiding Bellossom will reveal themselves and, unlike their friends, will be more than happy to respond to the scan function. Players should therefore use it once they are fully visible and then snap a photo of the pair's reaction for Professor Mirror.
Although players will be able to find a Machamp on the private beach from research level 1 onward, it's not until research level 3 that the Machamp needed for the Most Marvelous Muscles request starts showing up. It can be found by following the default route and will be flexing its muscles while staring out at the ocean on a rock to the player's right. To fulfill the Professor's request, players will need to get it to turn around.
Rather than Fluffruit or the Melody Player though, players will instead need to turn to their trusty Illumina Orbs to get the job done. A single hit with one will be enough to get the Machamp to turn around and players can snap the photo they need when it does. If they miss the shot for whatever reason, they can simply wait a moment and then try again. Once players have what they need, throwing a Fluffruit into the water in front of Machamp will lead to it diving in and swimming round to the beach at the very end of the course.
Players will be able to tackle the Hiding in the Sand request from research level 1. They'll need to take the alternate route to the private beach and then look for an Octillery in the water just past the Crystabloom on their right. Once they get close enough, performing a scan will cause a Stunfisk to pop out of the ground, although there's still a bit more work to be done in order to fulfill the requirements of the request.
After Stunfisk has emerged, players will need to hit it with a Fluffruit to make it mad. On land this would be simple enough, but, in water, the Fluffruit float. Players will therefore need to wait a moment after throwing it before it slowly drops down to the sand below. It can be a little tricky to line up, but throwing a few in the general area should do the trick. Throwing too many, however, will cause others to start disappearing and so players should stick to four or five at the very most. Once hit, Stunfisk will shock Octillery and players will need to capture the moment on camera to complete the request. Stunfisk should be the focal point of the photo, although Octillery must also be somewhere in the shot for it to count towards the Professor's request.
