Ubisoft Plus Subscription Service Getting a Reward System and UI Overhaul

There are currently several subscription and streaming services available to gamers, including PlayStation Plus from Sony and the Xbox Game Pass from Microsoft. Ubisoft has its Ubisoft+ subscription service, which offers players access to over 100 of the company's titles on PC.

Recently, Ubisoft announced that Ubisoft+ will be receiving a few upgrades to its features. Due to its successful launch in Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden, the company is expanding the Ubisoft+ reward system worldwide. The subscription service's user interface will get a new design as well.

Ubisoft released a video and a follow-up post explaining some of the key details about these changes for Ubisoft+. The subscription service's reward system will allow players to redeem new rewards for their games every month. Players who do will be able to access these in-game and elevate their gaming experience with customization items, boosters, and more.

Players will be able to choose rewards for some popular games, with a few featured in the video including Watch Dogs Legion, The Division 2, Immortals Fenyx Rising, and more. According to the video, any rewards players redeem in Ubisoft+ will be theirs to keep, even after their subscription ends. The longer players stick with Ubisoft+, the more rewards they can get.

Players can pick their first monthly reward on Ubisoft+ as soon as they join the subscription service, and then earn more monthly rewards by progressing through the four reward ranks: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum. Players can redeem rewards by going to the Ubisoft+ tab in the Ubisoft Connect PC app and go to the Rewards page. Then they can select "This Month's rewards" and choose whatever they want to redeem.

According to the news post, Ubisoft+'s new user interface design will feature frequent content updates and game recommendations. This is to make the service more accessible for players to find popular games like Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, as well as lesser known games or new Season Pass content.

Ubisoft+ will also allow players to enjoy new Ubisoft game releases as they come out. Games such as Far Cry 6, Riders Republic, and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake will be accessible. Currently, Ubisoft+ costs $4.99 a month, and players can cancel their subscription anytime they want during the subscribed month to stop being charged the following month.

Ubisoft+ is available now on PC and is currently in beta on Google Stadia and Amazon Luna.
