Demon's Souls Remake: Everything You Can Get From Sparkly The Crow
The Demon's Souls Remake is filled with many secrets. One that players may not have noticed is the lovable Sparkly the Crow. Sparkly offers items to players as long as they make an offering first. This NPC can be found resting in a tree in the Shrine of Storms. Locate the highest point of the level and that is where players will find the NPC.
Players will know they are in the right place when they hear a voice calling out for 'twinkly and sparkly' stuff. If they drop certain items at the base of the tree and then exit to the main menu and reload the game, a new item will be waiting for them.
17 White Arrows
These strong arrows are amongst the many items that players can get from Sparkly the Crow. Sparkly will drop them in bundles of 10, 20, or 40 at a time when players drop the appropriate items.
Dropping Soul Remains or an Augite of Guidance will get them 10 arrows. Dropping a Shard of Moonlightstone will get them 20 arrows, and dropping a Chunk of Moonlightstone will get them 40 arrows. Players can also choose to drop the Rune Sword to obtain 40 arrows, but doing so will cost them the weapon. The White Bow can also be obtained from the second Archstone in this area.
16 Grass
Anyone who has played the game knows that the grass items are needed to restore health. They are the game's healing items. Sparkly is able to drop Full Moon Grass, New Moon Grass, and Dark Moon Grass. Each one of these grass items is dropped in increments of 10 if players drop the correct item.
To get Full Moon Grass, players will need to drop a Shard of Mercurystone. Dropping a Chunk of Mercurystone will get the player New Moon Grass. Lastly, dropping Pure Mercurystone will get players Dark Moon Grass.
15 Archstone Shard
While Archstone Shards aren't the most useful item in the game, they do come in handy when a player needs to return to the Nexus. This item returns players to the Nexus with all of their collected souls.
Very useful when stuck in an area. Players simply need to drop a Shard of Faintstone to get 5 Archstone Shards from Sparkly.
14 Sticky White Stuff
Sticky White Stuff has been brought back from the original game with a slight name change to Sticky White Slime. This item increases a player's magic damage for a short while. If players offer up a Chunk of Faintstone, Sparkly will drop 10 Sticky White Slime for them.
13 Stone Of Ephemeral Eyes
Sick of being stuck in spirit form? Well, a Stone of Ephemeral Eyes will clear that up and make a player human once again. Players can get this useful item in multiple ways, but the easiest is trading an item to Sparkly. Players just need to trade one Pure Faintstone to Sparkly for them to drop 3 Stones of Ephemeral Eyes.
12 White Bow
Now that a player can get all the White Arrows that they could ever want, how will they get the White Bow? From Sparkly of Course. This bow is strong and has a far range. To get this bow, players need to drop one Pure Moonlightstone to Sparkly and they will drop it.
11 Regenerator's Ring
The Regenerator's Ring is used for many builds in Demon's Souls. This ring also stacks extremely well with blessed weapons and the Adjudicator's Shield. Wearing this ring will give a player constant health regeneration.
Players can find three Regenerator's Rings throughout the game, one of which is dropped by Sparkly. Drop the Jade Hair Ornament from the beginning of the game to Sparkly to get the ring.
10 Fragrant Ring
Similar to the Regenerator's Ring that restores a player's health, the Fragrant Ring restores a player's MP. This ring is used in multiple builds and restores 1 MP every 4 seconds. To get this ring, a player needs to drop the Brass Telescope given to them by Ostrava at the beginning of the game.
9 Ring Of Devout Prayer
The Ring of Devout Prayer is great for miracle builds because it adds an additional miracle spell slot for a player to use. The cost to receive this item from Sparkly can be a little high for some. Players must drop the Large Sword of Moonlight for Sparkly to receive this ring. The sword is found in the Swamp of Sorrow.
8 Ring Of Magical Dullness
The Ring of Magical Dullness increases a player's magical defense by 20% and lowers their magical attack by 40%. It is a decent negative, but useful if a player is always getting damaged by magic and doesn't rely on it to attack. This ring can be received by Sparkly by trading them the Phosphorescent Pole that is dropped by the Lord Rydell Black Phantom.
7 Storied Hero Souls
Everyone knows that Demon's Souls uses Souls as a form of currency to buy items and level players up. Storied Hero Souls grant players 4,000 souls when consumed.
This Soul increase comes at a cost of giving Sparkly either the Silver Coronet or the Silver Bracelet. Both of these items can be found in the Prison of Hope.
6 Colorless Demon's Souls
Colorless Demon's Souls are a necessary item to upgrade gear in the game. There are a lot of items that require these Souls to upgrade them. These valuable Souls can be retrieved from Sparkly by trading either the Talisman of God or the Gold Mask. The Talisman of God can be found in Island's Edge or bought from the Filthy Woman for 5,000 Souls. The Gold Mask is dropped by Mephistopheles or found in Upper Latria.
5 Ring Of Uneven Scales
The Ring of Uneven Scales is an item exclusive to the remake and increases a player's item burden while decreasing their maximum equipment burden. This ring can be retrieved from Sparkly by trading them a Gold Coin. The Gold Coins are dropped by the Fat Officials.
4 Ring of Longevity
Players get access to the Ring of Longevity if they purchased the deluxe edition of the game. If they didn't purchase that version of the game, they can still retrieve the ring from Sparkly at the cost of one Pure Bladestone. This ring increases a player's maximum health.
3 Hoplite Shield
The Hoplite Shield is another bonus item for players who purchased the deluxe edition of the game. This item can also drop from the Hoplites in the Gates of Boleteria.
Players who want to get it from Sparkly will need to trade the Rune Shield that is found in Upper Latria or dropped by Black Phantom Ostrava.
2 Rusted Key
The Rusted Key is a new item to the remake that took players a long time to discover. This ring is needed to obtain the Penetrator's Armor Set. To get it, players will need to find and collect 26 Ceramic Coins across two playthroughs and drop them for Sparkly. This will get them the key.
1 Providential Ring
The Providential Ring can be chosen as a starting gift at the start of the game. Players who want to get the ring after that will need to wait until they have obtained the Large Sword of Searching. Trading this item to Sparkly will get them the ring.
