WWE Star Mia Yim Wants to Be In Bully 2 | Game Rant
Today’s wrestling fanbase seems to have been mixing more often with the gaming community. More wrestling stars have indicated that they are also fans of video games, with champion Ronda Rousey even holding a Pokemon-themed gender reveal party recently. Now, Mia Yim, another WWE star, has shared her interest in gaming culture online, specifically tagging Rockstar Games and mentioning its Bully 2 title on Twitter.
It does not seem like the video game community minds the crossing over of wrestling fans into its space. WWE has had a long-standing history of branded video games, which brings together fans who share both gaming and wrestling interests. However, wrestling fans and gamers are likely surprised and intrigued to see that the actors that they watch in these shows are also actual players of the very games that they patronize. This can be seen in the different wrestlers who have cosplayed video game characters in matches, and some who even voice out their opinions about trending titles online.
On Twitter, Yim posted a simple tweet indicating her interest in Rockstar Games’ Bully series. She specifically mentioned the nonexistent Bully 2 title, which has not been mentioned by the studio in six years. Most fans will likely recall the original action-adventure PlayStation 2 title that allowed them to play as a young delinquent placed in a prestigious boarding school. With open-world gameplay much like Grand Theft Auto, gamers had to complete missions and rise up within the school’s various student groups in order to stop the bullying happening in the academy.
In the tweet, Yim talked about Rockstar Games needing a bully for Bully 2. With the original game having many different characters, fans of the WWE star quickly imagined a younger version of the wrestler within the walls of a boarding school. Yim’s fans are likely curious what she would look like, and what role she would play in the possible title. This is if Rockstar Games would put down the RDR and GTA series enough to actually focus efforts on producing a second Bully video game.
Nevertheless, Yim’s tweet has sparked interest online, not only within wrestling fans, but players who are hoping for a Bully 2 video game as well. Given that Rockstar Games has no mention of the series at all, fans will likely have to settle for these kinds of online posts in hopes that the developers will listen to the public, and actually make official announcements in the future.
