The Command & Conquer (C&C) series is one of the most successful RTS franchises in the history of gaming. Based on Westwood Studios’ RTS-defining release Dune II: The Building of a Dynasty from 1992, Command & Conquer took the RTS genre by storm in 1995 with its fast-paced combat and high-octane cut scenes, all set against an adrenaline-pumping soundtrack laden with intense rock music. The game was such a success that the series has since seen 13 C&C titles released.
