How to Get the Fortnite Winterfest Lt Evergreen Tree Skin for Free
Fortnite is trying something special this year with the introduction of presents When Fortnite players make their way to the Winterfest cabin, they can find themselves with a new present on a daily basis. Epic Games revealed in a recent blog post that these presents contain all kinds of unique cosmetic items, including two free skins, two gliders, two wraps, two pickaxes, and an emote.
But as of yet no skins have been released in the presents this year. But Fortnite fans needn't fret, for within the Winterfest cabin lies the "LT. Evergreen" skin, and with the right know-how Fortnite players will be fighting it out in Christmas camouflage in no-time.
Before Fortnite fans can get the LT. Evergreen skin, they must first head to the Winterfest Cabin. Upon arrival, players should look to the leftmost side of the screen at the presents, which they'll want to click. Once players have clicked all of the presents, they'll be able to make their way over to the Christmas tree, which they'll also need to click in order to open.
Once players are on the tree, the game will say "just a tree", which is what players will need to click on in order to open it. Upon opening the tree, Fortnite players will be greeted by a message saying that they've unlocked the LT. Evergreen Fortnite skin, which is the first of the two free skins related to the Winterfest cabin during the event.
In terms of rarity, the LT. Evergreen skin is indeed epic, and the same can be said for its style and cheekiness. The description even reads "just a tree here, move along". This is a subtle nod to Star Wars and serves as a nod to the continuously surprising relationship between Star Wars and Fortnite.
If Fortnite players experience any sort of glitch, they shouldn't worry. Epic has acknowledged the issue on a Twitter post as of this morning, and should have it fixed shortly.
