Square Enix’s Avengers game has four player co-op and character customisation
The E3 Coliseum event listing for upcoming Square Enix game Marvel’s Avengers has just revealed something pretty juicy - the game will feature “continuous single-player and co-operative gameplay”. It now looks like the information has been taken out - but not before letting us know that this will make for a pretty exciting gaming experience.
The entry, captured by PCGamer before being stripped out, said that up to four players can tackle the game together, and that it offers customisation options for the superheroes - meaning you’ll be able to tailor their play style to your preferences. This sounds like a pretty mould-breaking, RPG-like feature for a game based on some much-beloved and stalwartly-safeguarded comic book heroes. Who knows, maybe you'll get Antman bashing baddies with a hammer, Thor-style? If that's your preference, of course.
