Valorant's Next Agent Leaks | Game Rant
The first upcoming Agent for Valorant, Riot Games' forthcoming competitive first-person shooter, has leaked. That's an odd thing to consider, seeing as Valorant hasn't launched yet. But as recent years have made clear, if there's a game client to datamine then the leaker community will datamine it. Valorant's closed beta client is more than enough.
Valorant currently features 9 different Agents, each with their own unique abilities. The latest datamine shows that Riot must have a 10th character ready to go, as they're very fleshed out. The Agent's name is Raze, though their codename in Valorant's files is Clay. Her short description makes clear she "loves explosives" and is good at "clearing tight spaces."
Each Valorant Agent has four abilities. Two abilities must be bought just like weaponry, but are kept round-to-round after being bought, a Signature ability that's free for each Agent each round, and an Ultimate ability that's charged up with kills. Raze's two abilities are Boom Bot and Cluster Grenade, her Signature is Rocket Launcher, and her Ultimate is Blast Pack/ Satchel. Exactly what each ability does isn't clear, but can likely be intuited from their name.
Raze is just the first character to be found in what's likely to be a years-long series of Agent updates for Valorant. Valorant hasn't even launched and Riot's already teased that three more characters will be added between now and then. Raze appears to be the first of those three characters, a roster gamers are likely to become much more familiar with in the months ahead.
Valorant launches summer 2020 on PC.
