Epic Games Store Features Two Free Games This Week | Game Rant
For those stuck at home as a result of the coronavirus, there is no shortage of awesome games to play right now, and that is made especially so with all the free games that have been circulating. Most recently, the Epic Games Store has two free games up this week, and they're worth checking out.
The first free game available to Epic Games Store users is Amnesia: Dark Descent, a genre-defining horror game from Frictional Games. This will pit players against all sorts of eldritch nightmares and is sure to give horror fans both a thrill and a challenge.
The second free game, Crashlands, is much more family-friendly, and a more appropriate choice for those that don't do well with horror. This game is a rather humorous sandbox/survival experience, and is better seen than described. The trailer below sets the tone and expectation for the bizarre adventure.
These two titles will be free until May 7th. Beyond these, the PlayStation Store has been offering numerous free games, with 7 free games in April and more coming now in May, while other developers and platforms have been shelling out free games as well. There should be without a doubt something for every kind of gamer to do right now.
