GTA Online Glitch Lets Players Use CEO Exclusive Outfits Anytime
A YouTuber has just discovered a sweet trick that lets Grand Theft Auto Online players use CEO outfits at any time. The glitch allows someone to save the exclusive outfits without being part of an organization. Although Rockstar gave out free in-game GTA$ recently, starting up and maintaining an organization is very expensive and many players don't have the time or money.
Players got the ability to become CEOs or VIPs in the 2015 Executives and Other Criminals expansion. The expansion brought GTA Online players a ton of new missions and jobs, but it also brought something else interesting. CEOs could wear outfits unavailable to other characters, but players can't even become CEOs without at least $1,000,000 in in-game currency.
Remaining a GTA CEO requires players to maintain a criminal organization in the game, which can cost a ton of cash. In a recently uploaded video, YouTuber Tobster 2346 shares a trick that allows players to save the CEO items in their in-game wardrobe. The video walks players through exploiting the glitch, but there's also an explanation provided down below.
To use the glitch, GTA Online players must go to the blue job circle outside of the Suburban Store in Hawick and register themselves as a CEO. They can then choose the desired outfit to save, and launch the race inside the blue circle. Players should progress through the options by confirming settings and pressing play until the "Choose Your Vehicle" screen appears, at which point players should press Right or Left on the D-pad four times and quit the race. This will put players back on the blue circle in their original outfits. They should then enter the store and press right on the D-pad to browse the shirts, then wait until the store kicks them out and the CEO outfit re-equips. Players can then retire as a CEO and the outfit should be saved and able to be used whenever the player wants.
GTA Online is known for its interesting glitches, including a recent one that gave players nearly unstoppable flying tanks. Although saving CEO outfits in-game doesn't really affect gameplay like mowing down enemies in a flying tank does, it's a fun bonus for those that want to dress suavely but don't necessarily want to keep up an organization and indulge in the expensive CEO mechanics.
Of course, glitches can lead to something worse: hacking. GTA Online players have complained about the huge amount of hackers that flocked to GTA Online when it was free on the Epic Games Store last month. But most players who want to exploit a harmless glitch and get a cool outfit aren't looking to ruin the game for anybody, and just want a fun bonus to make them look cool. As long as glitches aren't hurting anyone or messing up the game, there's arguably no real reason not to use them.
GTA Online is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
