Predator: Hunting Grounds Adding Samurai Skin | Game Rant
The second paid DLC pack for Predator: Hunting Grounds has arrived in the form of a brand new Predator class: the Samurai Predator. This update comes as part of developer Illfonic's plan to bring additional characters, weapons, modes, maps, and more to Predator: Hunting Grounds' post-launch life.
Last month, the game's first paid DLC addition was that of Arnold Schwarzenegger's Dutch as a fireteam member; as such, this month's is to be a new class. Predator: Hunting Grounds also had a free update land in-game on June 12, making Dutch's Hammerhead QR5 and knife available to all players regardless of DLC ownership.
The Samurai Predator is based on an ancient Japanese legend: in days of old, the Japanese Samurai warriors would don their armor and battle an invisible demon in the sky, sometimes falling honorably in battle during a ritual that lasted for centuries. The DLC includes both the Samurai Predator class and early access to the Predator weapon katana, the latter of which will be unlockable for all players later this July, much like Dutch's DLC items in the previous pack. The DLC pack is available to download now, so players can get their hands on it as soon as they'd like.
In addition to Dutch's items, June 12's free update included new customizations and an increase in the level cap from 100 to 150, and players will receive the Elder Predator class upon reaching 150.
Successful multiplayer games are the ones continually supported after launch with fresh content, so it's good to see that Illfonic is doing just that with Predator: Hunting Grounds.
