Sniper Ghost Warrior developer CI Games officially announces Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 on social media. CI Games released Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts at the end of 2019, though reviews of the game were not hugely positive.
On Twitter, CI Games surprised fans by confirming that Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 would be released in fall 2020 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. No trailer for the game has been revealed and there are no confirmed gameplay details.
Nothing much about the game may have been confirmed but fans have some ideas. Fans want co-op gameplay, more weapons, and for the game to be much longer. While short games can be great, it seems that fans felt that there just wasn't enough content in Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts. Many fans also seem disappointed that CI Games has chosen to make a new game in the series and not release DLC for the game it released just seven months ago.
Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is the second game that CI Games has in development, as it is also making Lords of the Fallen 2 after having taken Defiant Studios off of the project. That game is in development for PC and next-generation consoles but it's unclear if Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 will also make the jump to PS5 and Xbox Series X.
