Deadly Premonition: Every Bone And Where to Find Them | Game Rant
Deadly Premonition, from Access Games, came out about 10 years ago on the Wii. At the time, the graphics quality was low, the voice-overs were gaudy, and the overall feel of the game was... bizarre. It was only because of this weirdness that the game was loved by everyone. Why? People were creeped out by it, and that's the point of a horror game. It was a trendsetter in the horror genre but the reviews from critics were polarized. Its second part has been released and the reviews are once again mixed.
There is a sidequest in the game where players have to collect 7 human bones. To start the quest, go to the graveyard and stand next to the dug-up grave. "Brian the Insomniac" will show up and demand the bones' return. They are scattered all over the town of Greenvale. Collecting all the bones rewards the players with two special weapons, the powerful Infinite Magnum and the Flame Thrower. Their location is also marked on the map. Here is a list of all the locations of the bones: right hand & foot bone, left hand & foot bone, hip bone, skull, and sternum.
7 Right Foot Bone
This bone is located in the Park. The Park only opens up after Chapter 5, The Lumber Mill, is completed.
The bone in question is on the path that leads to Anna's tree. Take a right at the crime scene tapes while entering the park. The path leads to a wooden fence. The fence can be broken by a melee weapon. Players should have a melee weapon on hand to break the fence by hitting it 2 to 3 times. After that, a blue circle will appear. Stand on it to get the right foot bone.
6 Left Foot Bone
The left foot bone is found at the fenced-off red trees area in the Albireo Graveyard. The actual entrance gate is sealed off by chains. The only way to enter the graveyard is by moving one of the two statues in the back.
Upon entering, some logs can be seen at the corner with a dog barking nearby. That dog is the root of the problem. It's the one who dug up the grave and scattered all those bones over the map. Spooky, right? The bone is retrieved when the player's character stands on the little blue circle
5 Skull
The skull is found to the east of Cope's Tunnel in an area marked like a patch of dirt on the map. In the dirt patch, there is a cluster of trees and rocks. The skull is placed in one of those trees.
After going through all the training and becoming an FBI agent, Travis still doesn't know how to climb a tree. Then how does he get the bone down? He shoots it. The bone flies off and lands on the rocks beside the trees. It can be picked up from there. Travis clearly hates his job.
4 Hip Bone
The hip bone is reached by following the road in front of Anna's house to the end. The path ends in a dirt patch and the bone, like the skull, is located on a tree. The dog will also be barking at this tree.
Shoot the bone to get it down. Why does the bone fly out of the tree instead of shattering? Nobody knows. Anyway, it can be picked up from there.
3 Right Hand Bone
On the right of Jupiter Farms, there is a sleeping spot. The right hand bone is found there. There is no direct path there from Jupiter Farm, so players have to go around through the road. On the Nightbird Way, there is an opening to the sleeping spot.
Many red containers are placed in the sleeping spot. The bone is behind one of those containers. As always, the dog can be seen barking from a distance. So it's pretty easy to find the bone.
2 Sternum
The sternum is located at a long distance from town. The players have to follow the White Lily Trail until they reach a dirt patch. Like the right hand bone, this one is also placed beside a red container, on a couple of rocks. It's best to travel to this location in a car.
At this point, make sure to not visit Willie at the department store. Otherwise, the quest won't complete.
1 Left Hand Bone
There is a trail behind Alberio Graveyard. Players have to take that path and keep going until they come across yet another dirt patch. This bone is next to a tree. Travis will pick it up after standing on the blue circle. Say hello to the dog too. He was a big help in finding the bones.
After collecting all the bones the players must let Willie's dog steal them. Only then, they can get the Infinite Magnum. If they go earlier, then they get some random item.
After retrieving the bones from Willie's dog, return them to Brian. He'll give the keys to his house. The Flame Thrower will be found there. The bones cover two sidequests. This is important for the players who want to achieve 100% completion.
