Iron Man VR: How Many Chapters Are in the Game | Game Rant
The brand new Iron Man VR game has arrived and it's packed full of content. As many VR games tend to be experiences more than full-fledged games, fans will be happy to know that Iron Man VR has quite a few chapters, making it a lengthy VR game.
Iron Man VR is double the playtime originally anticipated. The game will take around 10 hours to beat. As far as how many chapters are in the game, new trophy listings have highlighted the amount. There are 12 chapters in Iron Man VR, averaging a little less than an hour to beat each one. Technically there is also a prologue, so some could consider that there are 13 chapters in total.
PlayStation Trophy hunters will be glad to know that a trophy will be added with each chapter. The names of the chapters are as follows:
Chapter 1 – Out of the Blue
Chapter 2 – Reloaded
Chapter 3 – Hostile Takeover
Chapter 4 – Best Practices
Chapter 5 – Cage Match
Chapter 6 – Living Laser
Chapter 7 – Ghost in the Machine
Chapter 8 – Bite the Bullet
Chapter 9 – Uncanny Valley
Chapter 10 – Laser Focused
Chapter 11 – Rock Bottom
Chapter 12 – Resilient
Iron Man VR has reviewed well thus far. Many are pleased with the fact that the game is more than the standard tech demo. Thankfully, as VR continues to develop it seems like more full-fledged titles are being released.
Arguably, the best VR game this year may be Half-Life: Alyx, as fans waited over a decade for the next game in the series. The downside is that the entry point for Half-Life Alyx is owning a VR machine, but the positive is that it truly feels like a legitimate entry into the franchise. Half-Life Alyx is great, but Iron Man VR seems to be in the running as well for VR game of the year. Both titles are lengthy video games that take full advantage of VR. The 10-hour playtime and many chapters of Iron Man VR prove this fact.
The potential of VR is being able to be placed into experiences that feel like the real deal. While playing a game from a first-person perspective helps with immersion, VR goes over the top and gives the player the feeling of actually being in the moment. Iron Man VR shows what VR is truly capable of. There aren't many kids growing up that haven't imagined being a superhero, with Iron Man VR, that dream is a bit closer to reality.
Iron Man VR is available now exclusively on PSVR.
