One Last of Us 2 Setting Drastically Improves Player Experience

One setting in The Last of Us 2 gives players a bit of a break as they travel through Seattle and follow the story, which has created a stir in online gaming communities. With this, bullets and other items in the game are much easier to obtain.

The Last of Us 2 has been circulating on the internet frequently since its release. Despite emotional fans trying to tank the game's score on Metacritic, there are many who still enjoy the game and want to play it. There is one trick in the settings that players can use to make traversing the game a little easier.

A part of The Last of Us 2 is collecting materials as player's progress through the world. Objects such as crafting materials, bullets, and letters are all over the game, and players can use these items to improve their weapons, craft healing kits for their character, and learn more about the world around them.

However, it can be difficult to constantly have to seek out these items, and players may even miss things when they are looking for them. Players can use an accessibility feature where they swipe at the pad on their controller to highlight all the interactive elements and collectibles in the area around them, but sometimes there are other pressing issues that force the player need to leave an area or focus on avoiding enemies as they escape.

In the settings menu, players can turn on Auto Pickup, which allows The Last of Us 2's main character to pick up items as they walk near them. This applies to the useable objects. However, players will still need to manually open doors, drawers, and actively read letters that they come across. This option can aid players, significantly reducing the amount of button pushing they will need to do and give characters the ability to collect items that the player may have overlooked.

In the game, Naughty Dog gives players new ways to improve their experience and has been crowned one of the most accessible games ever created. Due to this, gamers who may have been unable to play the game have finished the game, like a blind gamer who played the whole game to the end.

The Last of Us 2 is out now for the PlayStation 4.
