Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2: How to Get the School 2 Secret Tape
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 Remake has tons of secrets for fans to rediscover around the various levels. With tons of levels from the original two Pro Skater titles returning in this remake, players have plenty to discover.
Two of the fan favorite levels in Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 Remake are the School levels. School 2 in particular has a few collectibles that can be a bit tricky for players to find, like the secret tape.
As mentioned above, the School levels in Pro Skater 1+2 Remake house many secrets such as the various bell locations or skate letters. However, the secret tape on School 2 can be a little tricky to actually locate and skate to. Upon loading into the map, players want to skate to the right and down into a small covered walkway with a railing going down the center. After exiting the hallway, players should see a series of lockers against the wall to their right.
Here is where players of previous Pro Skater games will notice things getting a bit different in terms of reaching the secret tape. Skate along the right wall and follow it until it meets the other wall of the building where the concrete planters are. The second concrete planter right after the entrance the south wing of the school building forms a ramp that should allow players to jump onto the second level of the school. Upon reaching the green overhang, players will have to perform a tricky wallride-into-grind to land on the lower part of the school’s roof.
Once on the lower platform of the school’s roof, come to a stop either by slowing down on the board or performing wallplant on the opposite wall. Now that players are on the lower part of the school’s roof, they will see the secret tap floating across the gap leading to the east wing entrance to the school building. Players need to leap over the gap with an ollie to reach the tape, as skating off the edge will not cover the distance. Players may even want to ollie higher than they think they should to avoid under-shooting the gap, as landing above the tape should collect it as well.
With that, players have collected the secret tape in the School 2 level. The secret tapes are just one of the many hidden details and secrets in Pro Skater 1+2 Remake School 2 map. Others include collecting the five letters in skate across the map, collecting the five hall passes, and wallriding the five bells across the map. While the map has been tweaked and changed a bit from its original incarnation, it’s still a very faithful and impressive recreation of the original.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 and 2 Remake is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
