Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - How to Farm Aetherium Crystals
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has returned the Zombie mode to fans, giving them an updated experience. In the mode, players can upgrade their gear if they collect Aethrium Crystals. There are a few ways to farm these crystals in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War for fans who want to speed through the advancement process and gain some extra powerful gear.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's Zombie mode comes with several updates that make for a refreshed game experience. Among these updates is the mini-map, zombie drops, and Aehtrium Crystals. These crystals are used to advance perks and gear, making them a valuable commodity.
Aethrium Crystals in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies act as a milestone reward. The first crystal is awarded at round 10 and then every five rounds after. Initially, they will be rewarded one by one, but after round 20 players will notice that they increase to 2 crystals a milestone. These milestone rewards will be the core of grinding out Aethrium Crystals, as players who repeat the process can earn more and more.
Many fans recommend spending the crystals immediately, as the upgrades will help even novice Zombie fans to reach the upper tiers. Aside from this, there are a few other ways to get crystals, but they are not a guaranteed reward. Only by grinding out rounds can fans have a guaranteed return.
After round 10, and sometimes round 15, players will start to notice nuclear enemies spawning around the map. Although these are difficult enemies to defeat until players have upgraded Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War weapons, the nuclear enemies do have a chance to drop crystals when they die. Do note that it is not the initial nuclear zombie but rather its split two-part version that drops the nuclear crystals.l
The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Aetherium Crystals will allow players to upgrade their perks and gain special gear for their personal Zombies loadouts. The power powerful players can be when going in, the longer their survival is expected in the dangerous and challenging Die Maschine map.
This is only the first map for the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies experience, so there are currently limited ways to gain the sought for items. Due to the importance of these crystals, some players believe that they may be the key to even better gear as the game evolves.
