Fortnite Glitch Lets Players Drive the Battle Bus | Game Rant
While Fortnite has been one of the most popular games of the past half-decade, it has had its fair share of silly, obnoxious, and even game-breaking glitches. The most recent bug that was discovered in the battle royale is one that lets players do something they've wanted to do for quite some time, drive the battle bus in Fortnite.
Leaks point to a gigantic Galactus event in Fortnite headed towards fans in the near future. The bug that was recently uncovered in Fortnite gives players a bit closer look at the massive Marvel villain.
YouTuber Glitch King, who is prominent in the community and helped discover multiple bugs, including one glitch that let players win every round in Fortnite, recently uploaded a video showing how it is possible to stay in the battle bus in Fortnite. The video starts off with a note that this is for the developers, so that they know what is taking place in the glitch, but there's little doubt that many players will emulate the video in an attempt to get an up-close and personal look at Galactus.
Staying on the battle bus takes a few steps. First, players must start up any game mode in which Galactus is visible, meaning a regular mode where the villain's head is seen off the map. Galactus has been teased in Fortnite for quite some time, and any chance players have to see what could be on the way is exciting. In this case, the glitch allows players to see his head peeking out of the water that much more clearly.
Next, players must make sure that the bus is headed directly towards the monstrous villain, which is easy to see by looking at the map. Within two-second of when the player would be forced to jump out of the bus, players must disconnect from the internet. In doing this, the game will keep the player on the bus and headed towards Galactus, who may be receiving skins in Fortnite soon.
On the scale of glitches in Fortnite, this one certainly isn't something that will cause an uproar. Some bugs can give a player a disadvantage, this one just gives a sneak peek of what may be to come. Fortnite and Disney have worked together and it seems as if continual crossovers could be in the near future for one of the biggest games in the world and arguably the biggest movie studio on the planet. Galactus and Marvel is just the latest example of this.
Fortnite is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
