Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Yule Festival Rewards Guide
Assassin's Creed Valhalla has just ushered in its first seasonal event, the Yule Festival. During this event, players can earn Yule Tokens and trade them for event specific items. While some of these are cosmetic changes, there are some weapons and armors that can only be obtained during this event.
For those that may have missed it, the Yule Festival event is triggered by returning to Ravensthorpe with the newest update installed. Some players have reported that the Grantebridgescire and Ledecestreshire story arcs need to be completed first, so players that are still getting lost in Assassin's Creed Valhalla's sea of collectibles should complete those to gain access to the event.
Once the event starts, players automatically gain access to Norvid's Festival Shop, two seasonal quests, and three Yule Festival competitions that can be used to earn Yule Tokens. It is easy to miss these Assassin's Creed Valhalla rewards if players don't spend time at the festival, so below are all the rewards that players can get by redeeming Yule Tokens at Norvid's Festival Shop.
Modraniht Ceremonial Armor Set
- Modraniht Ceremonial Headdress (Helmet) - 60 Yule Tokens
- Modraniht Ceremonial Cape (Cloak) - 60 Yule Tokens
- Modraniht Ceremonial Robe (Torso) - 60 Yule Tokens
- Modraniht Ceremonial Bracers (Bracers) - 60 Yule Tokens
- Modraniht Ceremonial Trousers (Pants) - 60 Yule Tokens
- Modraniht Ceremonial Seax - 150 Yule Tokens
- Modraniht Ceremonial Shield - 150 Yule Tokens
Yule Festival Settlement Cosmetics
- Traditional Yule Garland - 15 Yule Tokens
- Sacrificial Altar - 15 Yule Tokens
- Cozy Fire Pit - 15 Yule Tokens
- Ritual Tree Ornaments - 15 Yule Tokens
- Yule Beech Tree - 35 Yule Tokens
Yule Festival Tattoo Schemes
- Modraniht Head - 20 Yule Tokens
- Modraniht Chest - 20 Yule Tokens
- Modraniht Back - 20 Yule Tokens
- Modraniht Arm - 20 Yule Tokens
The tattoos and settlement decorations are all purely cosmetic, but for those looking to give Eivor a boost in power, the armor set and weapons are actually pretty good. As a set, the Modraniht Ceremonial armor increases damage after a stun finisher, and with all five pieces players will deal increased stun damage. The shield is less impressive, providing speed after blocking, but the Modraniht Ceremonial Seax is a powerful dagger weapon, increasing critical chance after a kill. This weapon pairs nicely with runes that increase critical damage or chance, or even the Sepulcher Axe that ignites weapons after a critical hit.
All of these rewards come out to a total of 775 Yule Tokens, so players will need to do quite a bit of grinding on the Yule Festival event. After completing both seasonal quests for a hefty reward, players should focus their efforts towards the archery competition game in the settlement. If players manage to score 1200 points or more on this, they will be rewarded with 40 Yule Tokens.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
