Fan Reveals Incredible Custom Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox Series X Console
Closing out 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 will be one of the last triple-A releases for the year, and it's certainly one that many fans have been waiting quite a long time for. First announced in 2012 and delayed multiple times throughout 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most highly anticipated titles releasing this year. The excitement surrounding the game has now been fully personified with a custom Xbox Series X.
One thing that has definitely beneficial to many in terms of the newest console generation is the customizable nature of both the PS5 and the Xbox Series X. Some companies are also giving away custom Xbox Series X consoles as part of marketing promotions, such as KFC giving away an Xbox Series X and controller. However, one fan has gone above and beyond with their design.
Twitter user Game Reaper 187 posted pictures showing off their Cyberpunk 2077-themed Xbox Series X, and it's immaculate, to say the least. The yellow and black circuitry, the laser cut engravings, the embellishments, and the 3-D plate of the game logo on top make this one extremely impressive customized console. Some would even argue that it outpaces Bojangle's custom Xbox Series X.
This console looks almost as though it's an officially licensed Cyberpunk 2077 themed console. It's amazing what some fans are capable of if given the right tools. Considering how simplistic the console design of Xbox Series X is compared to the PS5, it definitely helps to have ways of making the console look unique. Though, admittedly, it's much easier for PS5 users to customize their consoles and controllers compared to the Series X/S.
Given the removable nature of the PS5 console and controller's faceplates, this has allowed PlayStation fans to customize their consoles and controllers much easier. There are some truly impressive fan-made custom PS5 controller designs out there and even more impressive customized consoles out there. However, that's not to say that Xbox fans haven't been keeping up.
One fan managed to build a concept model of a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 themed Xbox Series X and controller back before the console even released. Not to mention the Cyberpunk 2077 themed console as well. If this custom console is any indication of the future, the gaming community is sure to see some incredibly impressive custom designs shown off online. Although, it will certainly be hard to beat Game Reaper's Cyberpunk 2077 design.
Cyberpunk 2077 is set to launch on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions currently in development.
