Fire Emblem Heroes Releasing Holiday Cards Through Twitter
It has been at least a week since Fire Emblem Heroes announced and started its summoning winter event named A Festive Miracle. The event introduced new limited-time alternate costumes for Fire Emblem: Three Houses characters Felix, Hilda, and Bernadette, as well as another Christmas-themed outfit for the game's goddess, Sothis. As the celebration continues, the game's developers seem to be in a festive mood, creating a limited-time online interaction with players and fans to send them festive greetings through their Twitter accounts.
Fire Emblem Heroes is Intelligent System's mobile gacha game known for featuring the many characters from the popular JRPG series as units. The game uses the typical gacha event banner system to encourage players to "summon" or draw these units so they can utilize them in Fire Emblem Heroes' different story missions. Over time, Fire Emblem Heroes has introduced more than 500 characters across their different titles.
Taking over the game's official Twitter account, Hilda talks fans and players through redeeming their holiday greeting cards via private messaging on Twitter. With a simple click of the post's image, players can get into a generated message thread with the Golden Deer fan-favorite. Hilda then gives players the choice between herself, Bernadette, Felix, and Sothis to be used as the main image of the greeting card they will receive.
Fire Emblem Heroes fans will be able to request these cards on Twitter until December 26, 2020, 6:59 a.m. PT. Hilda mentions that players can only request a greeting card once from each of the 'Choose Your Legends' characters, so it's important for players to be logged into the account that they want to receive their greeting card on. At the moment, commenters on the Twitter thread have mentioned delays on the delivery of the greeting cards due to the influx of requests. Hilda's advice is to wait at least ten minutes between each try and then click the main post's image again once the waiting time is up.
Fire Emblem Heroes is available on Android and iOS devices.
