The Division 2's Next Manhunt Features a Familiar Face
The Division 2 will be releasing season 4 for Warlords of New York next week on December 8th as part of the Title 12 update for the game and will be adding new items and improvements to the game. One major addition is the return of an old character as a Manhunt target that longtime Division players will surely recognize.
The upcoming season in The Division 2 will feature a new target for players to take down who is none other than Faye Lau. Lau is the former commander of the player character for the first entry in the Division game series. Additionally, she will not only go rogue, but will even be commanding four other rogue Division agents as part of Black Tusk in the next season update.
Faye Lau's return was revealed in the recent content roadmap for Division 2, but it didn't specify that she'd return as a target. Previously, Faye Lau was the player character's commander in the first Division game, where she issued the players orders and a major supporting character throughout the game. By the time Warlords of New York starts, Lau has grown more hardened, having suffered the tragic loss of her sister, and experienced her own downward spiral that was exacerbated by the events of the current expansion.
All this culminated in Lau joining Black Tusk leading up to Warlords of New York's fourth season. In the new season, players will be hunting down her own cell of four rogue Division agents to stop Black Tusk's plans. Then they will use the agents' intel to go after Lau herself. The new season will inform players of their former commander's motivations for not only leaving the titular organization but turning on it as well.
In addition to Faye Lau as the next target, Division 2's Title 12 update will have other changes for Warlords of New York players. The Summit will be receiving a new progression loop called Challenges, new Commendations, and increased objective variation. There will also be new gear and weapons such as the Rigger seasonal outfit, a new skill variant, and three new exotic weapons as well.
There will be a series of quality of life improvements for all players, including the option to wear a mask whenever they want, increased inventory size, sixteen stored gear loadout slots, and the ability to filter mods. There will even be an opportunity for players to earn holiday-themed gear, like a weapon that shoots snowballs or a Hunter mask available for a limited time at The Summit. This opportunity will start from December 8 to February 2, 2021.
Players will have much to look forward to in the fourth season of The Division 2: Warlords of New York.
The Division 2: Warlords of New York is available now on Amazon Luna, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
