Wolcen's Bloodtrail Update is Now Live | Game Rant
Update 1.1 has arrived for Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem, the Diabo-like RPG that released earlier this year. In what is a massive content drop and rebalance update, the Wolcen Bloodtrail expansion looks to add hunts and features, balance the game, make adjustments to enemies, skills, and gameplay, and more.
Bloodtrail is the first major free content update for Wolcen since it launched in February. The developer has focused on stability and server issues after a bit of a rocky launch, putting new content on the backburner. But now Wolcen Studio has released this content-heavy update, something fans have been waiting for.
To celebrate and show off the new update, a trailer for Wolcen Chronicle 1: Bloodtrail was released earlier today. The footage shows off everything that players can expect in the new update. From a content perspective, Hunts are being added to Wolcen, a new gameplay feature. A new currency is being added to the game, more rewards, a new skill called Talon Shot, and even Pets are now in Wolcen, like dogs and cats in Sea of Thieves, for example. Dogs, wolves, and drakes will follow alongside the player and help them trace down enemies.
It's been a long wait for Wolcen fans for an update of this nature. Many have resorted to playing fanmade content via the strong mods in Wolcen, but finally receiving new game modes, things to unlock, and places to explore created by the developer is very exciting.
