World of Warcraft: Shadowlands - How to Craft Legendary Armor
As the latest expansion for one of the most popular MMORPGs ever made, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is keeping people busy. Players are pouring over the endgame content introduced, as well as hoarding gold and hunting for Easter eggs.
There are a lot of exciting opportunities in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. Much attention has been given to the new Covenants, but just as exciting are Legendary Powers. These are used to craft Legendary Armor; armor that, supposedly, can help a player measure up to the living legends of World of Warcraft. There's only one way to get this Legendary stuff and it's a multi-step process, so here's how.
This is something that everyone should know before starting World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. The Runecarver is the one and only being who can craft Legendary Armor for the player, and while not hard to find, is not exactly where players might expect. Upon entering the Antechamber of Torghast (the Tower), hang a right and go through the portal. This leads to the Runecarver's Oubliette, where the Runecarver is kept bound. Talking to the Runecarver also completes the Deep Within quest, the first true step in the questline leading to a piece of Legendary Armor.
The next quest in the questline is Ashes of the Tower. To complete it, gather 1,250 Soul Ash. This is a currency dropped only by enemies in Torghast, and it's necessary for Legendary Armor creation. Players must storm through Torghast as much as they can to stockpile Soul Ash for the best Armor.
The final step in the questline is Final Pieces, and it's trickier than the first two. Completing Final Pieces requires the player to get the most important components to make the Legendary Armor besides Soul Ash. These include a Runecarver Memory, an Armor Rune Vessel suitable to the class the Armor is for, and 2 Missives.
The Runecarver Memory can be obtained from the Reawakening optional quest. Getting an Armor Rune Vessel is even more simple, since these are just base items that are going to be made Legendary. They come in every armor slot variety from Head to Feet and in four varieties: Cloth, Leather, Mail, and Plate.
There are two final types of pieces to collect, although only one is technically needed for the quest. These are the Missives, which further enhance player stats when baked into the Legendary Armor. There are different Missive types, so try to gather those that work best with the class synergy being made. The final, most important piece is a Legendary Power. There are different kinds and the recipes for them can be found all over the Shadowlands. Explore enough and they will be found.
