Every Borderlands Funko Pop and How Much They're Worth
Though the original Borderlands game released in 2009, its success led to quite a few subsequent games (both prequels and sequels) that allowed players to continue to immerse themselves in the Vault-chasing world of Borderlands. Each game in the series, whether it was Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, or Borderlands 3, each received moderate to favorable reviews, though Borderlands 2 is still one of the most lauded games of the franchise.
With such a dedicated fan base, it wasn’t long until the game received Funko Pop!’d versions of many notable characters. These super-stylized figures are mostly vaulted, meaning they’re no longer in production, but that doesn’t mean they’re unavailable for purchase. As long as Funko Pop collectors know where to look, they can find these adorable figures for above, at, or even below the PPG (Pop Price Guide) estimate. All numbers reported are from PPG and may be subject to change based on demand and availability of each figure.
Handsome Jack was one of the first Borderlands Funko Pop releases in 2015. The primary antagonist of Borderlands 2 and subject of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Handsome Jack has two different Funko Pop versions. The first is valued at $37, while the other is a metallic gold version released in 2020 as an E3 Expo/ GameStop exclusive and valued at $20.
Though Mad Moxxi is an NPC originally debuted in the DLC Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot for the first Borderlands game, she’s still a well-loved character in the franchise. She’s made appearances, or at least been referenced, in pretty much every Borderlands game to date—both main series or otherwise. She’s got two Funko Pop versions, both released in 2015, one of which is her regular version valued at $14, or her Red GameStop exclusive version valued at $38.
Claptrap, stylized “CL4P-TP” in-game, is the unofficial mascot of the Borderlands games. He’s been featured in every single game and even became a playable character in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. He’s also essentially gotten the Master Chief of Halo Funko Pop treatment with 8 different versions created. The first is his regular version, debuted in 2015 and valued at $11.
This GameStop exclusive version of Claptrap came out in 2015 and is colored blue as opposed to his usual yellow color. Claptrap (Blue) is currently valued at $41.
Another GameStop exclusive to come out of 2015, this gray version of Claptrap was a Mystery Box exclusive, though it is only valued at $4 currently.
Though the Claptrap Gray GameStop exclusive has a fairly low value, this Gold Chase variation is valued at $41. For a Funko Pop to be a “Chase” means that a low number of Funko Pops had their figure inside switched with a rarer version, so the Gray version was replaced with a completely Gold version instead. The boxes show no difference, but the figure instead is distinctly different. Chase variations are often valued more than regular versions.
Gentleman Claptrap was another GameStop exclusive released in 2015, complete with a top hat and mustache. It is currently valued at $10.
Emperor Claptrap debuted in 2017 and is definitely more dressed up than his other Funko Pop versions. Though it’s currently vaulted, this Pop is only valued at $8.
One of the few Borderlands Pops that are still “available” as opposed to vaulted, Commando Claptrap was released in 2017 as a GameStop exclusive and is currently valued at $12.
The most recent Claptrap released, this 2019 Distressed Claptrap is valued at $9.
Another of the original Funko figures released in 2015, this is a stylized version of an enemy found throughout Borderlands, Borderlands 2, and Borderlands 3. He’s even got the signature “finger gun” found on the cover of the debut game. This figure is valued at $13.
Introduced in Borderlands 3, the female Psycho Funko Pop debuted in 2019 as a GameStop exclusive. This Psycho clocks in a little less than her male counterpart at $8.
Lilith appears in all four main series Borderlands games, though she’s only a playable character in the first. Otherwise, she’s an NPC, albeit a powerful one due to her “Siren” status, and has two different Funko Pop versions. The first was released in 2017 and is valued at $24, while the second was released in the Borderlands 3 line of 2019 and is valued at $18.
Written as “Zer0,” this playable assassin was introduced in Borderlands 2, and is an NPC in both Borderlands 3 and Tales from the Borderlands. Zero only has one Funko Pop version that was released in 2017, currently valued at $46.
Tiny Tina is an endearing NPC who was first introduced in Borderlands 2 and continues to make appearances in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and Borderlands 3. She’s got a sad backstory and a heart wrenching DLC titled Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, which may be why she’s got the most expensive value of all Borderlands Funko Pops. Released in 2017, her figure is valued at $70.
A Siren like Lilith, Maya was introduced in Borderlands 2 and returned as an NPC in Borderlands 3. The first Maya released was a 2019 E3/ GameStop exclusive and is valued at $9. For Borderlands 3, another Maya debuted, one regular and one as a Chase variation. Both were GameStop exclusives, but the Chase variant glows in the dark, making it have a value of $23 as opposed to the “regular” value of $9.
Butt Stallion is the diamond pony of Handsome Jack and an NPC introduced in Borderlands 2. She’s also got ties to Tiny Tina, and if players feed the pony 5 Eridium, she will produce a piece of loot for them by vomiting or defecating either a weapon of varying rarity, health, ammo, or money. Butt Stallion was a 2019 NYCC (New York Comic Con) and GameStop exclusive, and is valued at $28.
Borderlands 3 only released in 2019, so players will have plenty of time to re-play both the main series and spin-off games if they want to dive back into Pandora. Otherwise, a Borderlands movie is currently in the works with Cate Blanchett as Lilith, though no release date has been announced yet.
Borderlands 3 is currently available for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
