Golf With Your Friends: Trickshot Guide For Ancient | Game Rant
Golf With Your Friends has some pretty interesting courses for players to explore, such as the Worms map or the Museum map. One of the more interesting, and possibly more difficult courses, is Ancient. This map takes players across a course filled with ancient ruins and dinosaur mains.
With all the dips, jumps, and angles that this course has as obstacles, it can be difficult to score the all-important hole in one. Luckily, this course is perfect to perform a few trick shots to help players get ahead of the game and beat their friends.
7 Hole #4
The fourth hole of the course features multiple swinging logs to knock a player's ball off the course. Players should first start by aiming at the edge of the diagonal wall in front of them, and hitting the ball with full power. This will set up their ball along the right side edge below the hill further up the course.
Next, aim at the center of the obelisk and hit the ball with full power when the swinging log is closest to the ball. This will allow the ball to bounce off the obelisk and the log and go right into the hole.
6 Hole #5
This shot is extremely difficult to make, but players can take aim at the wooden post in front of them. Aim at the right edge of the post and hit the ball with full power. This should make the ball fly across the course and land in the water.
Players can then bounce their ball in the water a few times before getting a big jump onto the platform that the hole is on. This can be a good method to score a hole in one, but it is an almost pixel-perfect shot. Definitely head to practice mode to try it out.
5 Hole #8
There is a crease in the wall that players can aim near to help them score a hole in one on this hole. To the left of the wooden post is a crease that stands out in the wall. Aim slightly to the left of it between the two hieroglyphs, and hit the ball with a little less than full power.
This is a difficult shot to make. However, those who do make it will see their ball fly over the course and land in the perfect spot for the ball to roll down into the hole and score a hole in one.
4 Hole #10
It is tempting to aim straight ahead and fire the ball across the dinosaur bones, but that's a mistake. Many players don't notice the side path that can be taken on this hole, which can lead to a hole in one.
Aim to the right of the bones to see a hole in the wall, slightly visible from the starting area. Aim at the wall with full power and let the ball fly. This will send the ball into the hole in the wall and down the course. It is hard to aim it perfectly to score a hole in one, but it's possible with some careful aiming.
3 Hole #12
Players will immediately notice that there are multiple tubes on this hole that they can shoot their ball into. Players should aim at the left one with a little over three bars of power. It is difficult to get a hole in one on this hole, but it is possible if aiming correctly.
Unfortunately, it is hard to state exactly where players should aim at. If the shot is right, the ball will fly across the hole and manage to fall in on the first shot.
2 Hole #16
Players will immediately notice the two pillars that slam onto the course in front of the spawn area. Just after these pillars, there is a curved wall. Players should aim at the right side of the curved wall with full power. This will drop the ball to the lower section of the course.
Players can then aim the ball at a hieroglyph on the wall that looks like the letter 'F' with full power. This will send the ball down the rest of the course and should land it in the hole.
1 Hole #17
There are a couple of shots that players can take that will land them either in the hole or next to the hole. Players can aim straight ahead with full power and it will bounce them down to the bottom with a few areas where the ball clips out of bounds.
The other shot is a bit harder to pull off, but has a higher chance of scoring a hole in one. Aim at the flag on the wooden sign with the hole number on it. Aim directly at the letter 'e' and hit the ball with full power. This will have the same effect of getting the ball down to the hole pretty quickly, and hopefully land the player a hole in one.
