World of Warcraft: How to Get and Use Key of Flowing Waters
There are four Korthian Relic Boxes in World of Warcraft, which players can unlock with the help of some special keys. One of those keys is the Key of Flowing Waters, and it can be purchased from Archivist Roh-Suir after reaching Tier 2 research with The Archivists' Codex. To use the Key of Flowing Waters once it has been obtained, players must locate the corresponding Chest in World of Warcraft, and this guide is here to assist with that matter.
To get right to it, the Key of Flowing Waters Chest is on the west coast of Korthia, in the Estuary of Awakening. More specifically, it is at coordinates 33.01 41.93, though it is recommended that WoW fans navigate to 32.44, 43.45 first. At this location, players will find numerous Hungering Mites and Ravenous Scavengers, and the chest of interest is under a ledge just to the north.
With respect to what players will find in the Key of Flowing Waters Chest, it contains The Netherstar. This Korthian Relic initiates a quest that centers around bringing the object to Archivist Roh-Suir in the Reliquary of Remembrance, but fans must recharge it first. To perform that recharging, players must interact with several Anima Fissures in World of Warcraft, and they can be found scattered across the Estuary of Awakening.
Upon delivering the recharged Netherstar to Archivist Roh-Suir, players will receive immediate indication that they have completed this WoW quest and earned their rewards. Those rewards are 500 reputation with The Archivists' Codex and 250 Cataloged Research, which can be exchanged for a variety of recipes, armor pieces, and more. Considering that the most-powerful of these items cost a large number of Cataloged Research, players should not miss this opportunity to easily earn some.
As previously noted, the Key of Flowing Waters Chest is just one of four Korthian Relic Boxes that can be opened with keys bought from Archivist Roh-Suir. The other three are the Key of the Inner Chambers Chest, the Korthite Crystal Key Chest, and the Key of Many Thoughts Chest, and each one contains a quest-starting item. All of these quests are completed by taking the objects back to the Reliquary of Remembrance in Korthia, which is indeed quite an easy thing to do.
These are certainly not the only chests that players will encounter as they explore Korthia, though, as there is also a Spectral Bound Chest that needs opening. This requires the acquisition of a number of Spectral Bound Chest Keys in World of Warcraft, and those can prove slightly difficult to find. That said, fans that put in the work to track down these keys will certainly be rewarded for their efforts.
World of Warcraft is available now for PC.
