Fortnite: How to Harvest Buses and RVs in Native Locations
Fortnite is loaded up with new XP Xtravaganza challenges for players to complete for tons of XP. This week's XP Xtravaganza includes a challenge where players will have to figure out how to harvest buses and RVs in order to nab 20,000 in-game XP for themselves.
Harvesting buses and RVs for resources is pretty straightforward: just find an RV or bus and use the pickaxe to destroy it for its materials. So while players are out and about looking for weapons and trying to Boogie Before Oblivion this week, they'll have to keep an eye out for large vehicles to break apart. Thankfully, there are a handful of native locations that players can always count on for them to spawn.
Native Locations in Fortnite are any location that hasn't been altered on the map for this season. This includes places like Retail Row, Sweaty Sands, Weeping Woods, and more. There are a handful of these evergreen locations that players can find a bus or an RV to destroy. Players only need to destroy one bus or RV, so just pick one of these locations and get smashing.
- Retail Row - There will be a bus in Retail Row right by the basketball court. Players need to break the bus down with their pickaxe in order to get credit; if they like, they can use the free, OG Fortnite pickaxe that Epic was giving away this month.
- Weeping Woods - Look to the east of Weeping Woods for a bus parked on the road.
- Salty Springs - While Salty Springs is a Native Location, there are no buses or RVs there.
- Risky Reels - Although this location is a Native one, players may not be able to use this one. However, there is an RV park right by the sign. There should be a handful of bright green RVs all parked close to one another.
- Lazy Lake - Look for the Gas Station at Lazy Lake. There should be an RV parked close by. Lazy Lake is a favorite location for players in Fortnite; hopefully, it will stick around next season.
Keep in mind that these XP Xtravaganza challenges have to be completed before the beginning of Season 5 on December 2nd, which will bring in a Fortnite subscription service and possibly another Star Wars crossover event. Each of the Xtravaganza challenges will give players a pile of XP; if players are looking to grab some last-minute cosmetics or complete their battle passes, they should complete the whole list of these for some easy experience.
Fortnite is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, and later on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
