Rogue Company Teases World Premiere Reveal for The Game Awards Tonight
It looks like Rogue Company will receive a special announcement at this year's The Game Awards. The official Rogue Company Twitter page just sent out a semi-cryptic tweet in regards to a video that is on the way.
The Game Awards are only a few minutes away, and it looks like Hi-Rez Studio's third-person-shooter will be a part of it. The official Twitter page of The Game Awards quote retweeted the Rogue Company tweet saying that it will make sure the premier is ready for the show tonight.
A quick five-second tease is shown as a part of the tweet for the free to play Rogue Company. It looks like an entire special ops team is pointing guns at an elevator door, waiting for someone to come out. However, the video then ends. It is likely that the full video will be shown at The Game Awards, but what exactly it is is not yet known.
Just a couple of months ago in October, a Dr. Disrespect skin and map was revealed for Rogue Company, which is pretty neat for both the streamer and the game. The next announcement could be something similar, as more online multiplayer games are adding crossover content.
The game is designed around team-oriented play with limited lives and impressive powerups and abilities. A new character to the impressive cast of Rogue Company is certainly a possibility. Fans will not need to wait much longer to find out what the new announcement in Rogue Company is, as The Game Awards are just now starting.
Rogue Company is available on PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
